Wake up my soul!
Our feelings frequently communicate themselves
Somehow to others.
When we like a person,
Our pleasure may be transmitted to him or her,
And often he or she at once
Feels amicably disposed toward us too.
The opposite is also true;
A person to whom we instantly take a dislike
May well somehow sense it
And behave toward us in a cold, distant fashion.

「想い」は、よく人に通じるといいます。
心のなかで、ある人を好きだなと思っていると、
その「想い」がいつのまにか相手に伝わり、
相手もこちらに対して好意をもってくれるようになります。
反対に、心のなかで、ある人をきらっていると、
そのきらいな「想い」がいつのまにか相手にも伝わって、
よそよそしくなってきたりするものです。
